Vlog

This is a video of me listening to music as one of the many things to do in the town library.
Although you can listen to music practically anywhere, i used the library as much as a i could in different ways, because it has kind of become my theme for my blog. Otherwise i would probablly listening to music elsewhere.

Interactive Interface Design

I found that in my course of interactive interface design my best piece of work was the very first project i did. The purpose of the assignment was to create three pictogram's, using the processing program, of what not to do in the design school. The pictogram's had to be effective, eye catching and easy to read. I chose the colours red, white and black which is recognised as prohibited. These colours made the pictogram's look alarming which effectively brought the messages to the students attention.

This project was extremely difficult at the beginning as i had to learn a code, which to me and my classmates, was like learning a secret language we had never heard of. I for one had never heard of processing. Ever.
Throughout this course, the achievement wasn't just the end result or the feedback from my tutors, but the success of being able to teach myself something i never thought i was capable of doing. Even though the grade is important to me, the process was much more self rewarding.

Overview

Before i started this project i didn't even know what the word Vlog or VJ meant. I have learnt a few things from this project such as creating the actual blog for instance.
While researching i came upon many websites that had great layouts and information i could learn from in making my blog better such as these:

I really enjoyed lurking through my classmates blogs and commenting on thier great work. Alot of it was inspiration where some where setting the mark for what a good blog was to look like.
I found this project interesting because i have an interest in blogging and using the Internet for research.
